A thriving relationship is beautiful.
But being in a relationship with some guys can make you confused.
This doesn’t mean you aren’t loved and cared for or that he has no feelings for you.
He could be confused about what he wants from you, how he feels about you, or just overwhelmed by work challenges, meeting deadlines, family issues, and other life challenges.
He may also be dealing with one or two mental health issues due to certain traumatic experiences he hasn’t processed.
All I’m trying to say is that when your partner exhibits one or two of the signs below, it doesn’t always mean he has no feelings for you.
Yes, you may need to pay more attention to your relationship or ask some questions to get your facts straight and know exactly what you’re up against, but I just need you to know that it isn’t always about not having feelings for you.
Now, let’s get into those signs that may suggest or point to the fact that your partner had no feelings for you.
Nine (9) signs he has no feelings for you.
1. He forgets important details about you.
Men forget things about the women they love.
Perhaps he’s having a hard time at work, trying to meet a deadline, or just being overwhelmed with one or two challenges.
However, the difference between a man who has feelings for you and another who has no feelings is called “genuine effort.”
A man who has feelings for you will make a genuine effort not only to make it up to you but also to put things in place, such as setting a reminder on his phone app so he doesn’t forget again.
On the contrary, a man who does not feel for you will not make any effort to make it up to you.
He goes as far as gaslighting you, trivializing your feelings, and letting you know you’re overreacting when you complain.
If you have to complain and remind your partner of everything, and he makes no effort to remember and honor even the smallest detail about you, then he may have no feelings for you.
2. He doesn’t get jealous when you talk to other guys.

This is one sure sign you are with a guy who doesn’t have feelings for you.
Men are naturally protective of the lady they care about, which applies to ladies they have feelings for, even if they aren’t dating or involved in a relationship.
As a lady, it’s a red flag when you talk about other men or go to the extent of flirting with them before your partner, and he smiles about it and even encourages you to hang out with other men or date other men.
He’s uncomfortable with it because he loves you and needs you to do what makes you happy or increases your chances of settling down.
He’s comfortable with it because he’s not into you and doesn’t have feelings for you.
3. He’s not loyal to you

If a man has feelings for you, his loyalty won’t be an issue.
He had a life even before you came into the picture, and there may be female friends and colleagues, but you won’t ever be in doubt as to where and with whom his heart and loyalty lie.
Through the genuine effort he makes, he shows you he has feelings for you and that he prioritizes you over and above every other woman around him.
A man who has no feelings for you does the opposite.
With him, you are not at peace.
You are confused and constantly wonder about your place in his life.
It gets even worse if there are other female friends and colleagues because he doesn’t try to let you know you are his priority.
This leaves you wondering if he’s also involved with those women the way he’s involved with you, if he loves you or if you are hallucinating.
No woman deserves to be in such a sad and dark place.
So, I suggest you pay attention to the feelings and thoughts you have and see if they are actually pointers to the fact that your partner has no feelings for you.
4. He is indifferent towards you.

Are you always the first to call or reach out to him?
And when you don’t call or reach out, he remains silent and never reaches out until you do.
When you send texts or chats, does he read and never reply?
When you try to talk to him about things that bother you or share your experiences and feelings with him, does he shrug you off?
Does he look at his phone or distract himself with his game or television instead of giving you his full attention and showing you he is interested in whatever you have to share?
Does he walk out on you in the middle of a conversation?
If you are nodding because most of these attitudes sound like your partner, then he may have no feelings for you.
5. He isn’t spending time with you.
The greatest gift your man can give you isn’t money or any other material thing.
It’s his time.
I admit that life, adulthood and its many challenges may keep a man from spending time with his woman.
However, a man who has feelings will create time.
It may not be as long as you truly want, but no matter how tight his schedule is, he will create some time for you.
On the other hand, a man who has no feelings for you will constantly hold onto numerous excuses to avoid creating and spending time with you.
6. He is constantly distracted.

You’ve talked and cried and talked and cried, and finally, he decides to create some time for you.
You pick the time and venue, and you guys meet on the day you choose.
However, you notice he isn’t there with you.
His body is there, of course, and he’s having a meal or a drink with you, but his eyes are glued to his phone as he scrolls up and down.
If he isn’t scrolling through his phone, he is taking long calls; if he isn’t, he’s waving and smiling at every Tom, Dick and Harry that passes by your table.
In no time, he looks up and says you guys must leave because he needs to catch up with something or someone.
You feel empty and invisible, and you wonder if you made a mistake by suggesting a time-out.
Does this sound familiar?
Then you may be dating a man who has no feelings for you because people pay attention to who and what they love.

7. He hides your relationship from the world.
It’s no news that some men like to keep the women they have relationships with a secret.
Most times, the men who are secretive about their relationships aren’t proud of those relationships.
It’s also possible they don’t have any real commitment as they are only dating for financial or sexual gains or work and promotion-related purposes.
Whatever the reasons, the most important thing to note is that if a man keeps the relationship with you a secret, the likely inference is that he has no feelings for you.
We all want to be with someone who shows us off and who isn’t afraid to hold our hands in public and say,
“Meet my girlfriend”.
If you are with someone who prefers to keep you hidden from his friends and family, you need to sit up and pay close.
It’s a sign you are with someone who is using you and who doesn’t have any feelings for you.
8. He abuses you.
Physical, emotional or verbal abuse is often a sign of an underlying psychological issue that must be addressed and worked on.
It could also be an indication that your partner has no feelings for you and has only resorted to abuse to force you to stay away from him.
A man who abuses you physically, emotionally or verbally at the slightest opportunity doesn’t think or care about your feelings and how his acts of abuse can affect you.
If your partner resorts to abuse to keep you away from him, shut you up, get you to do something he wants you to do or “punish” or “correct” you for doing something he disapproved of, it’s a sure sign he doesn’t have any feelings for you.
There are better ways to sort things out, and abuse, in whatever form, is unhealthy.
9. Your instincts tell you he feels nothing for you.

Someone once told me something I’ll never forget.
“Pay attention to your instincts. Like time, they always tell.”
You see, it’s one thing to feel something, and it’s another thing to pay attention and understand why you feel the way you feel about your partner.
Final Thoughts
Like I said earlier if you notice one or more of these signs in your partner, the important thing is to start a conversation, ask questions and seek clarification.
He might have feelings for you, but these signs could be pointing to other issues that need to be addressed.

My ex-husband was helping me when I didn’t have a place to stay, and his moving on entailed two underage girls that he got from his experience with a real mental sick woman that never had anyone treat her the way he did and me being his ex got threw at both of us and now I’m treated very badly for messing up his life because of the children we have together, but their grown and gone. he’s always been told that he’s a Good man Wtf
I am that guy.
I don’t hide the relationship because I really don’t think of it as a relationship. Being distracted is normal I think. Being indifferent and not spending time with her and not aware of being in a relationship, kind of all follow a same trajectory.
Not abusive, just don’t care so I don’t get jealous.
